The main building is a two-storey, cement building which houses the accommodation, restaurant/bar, kitchen, office and guest lounge. There are 22 guest rooms, each with 2 beds, private bath, a/c and tv. The restaurant/bar can seat 50 persons. Upstairs, there is a conference room.

Adjacent to the main building, is a large, thatched roof, open-sided building that is also used for eating and drinking and is particularly popular for parties, etc. Elsewhere on the hotel grounds is an additional outside bar that is used for large weddings, etc., a workshop and some bathrooms/showers.

The hotel boasts a good-size swimming pool which is attractively set in a large, tiled patio area with palm trees, mangoes and bananas.

A large pond, containing fish and turtles, is another of the attractions of the hotel and this is set in the well-landscaped garden featuring many tropical trees, shrubs and flowers. Large iguanas are often seen by the side of the pond to the delight of guests.

A new accommodation block is under construction and this will provide an additional five guest rooms as well as an apartment for the owner/manager.

The hotel grounds cover almost 1 1/2 acres of land and take up a whole block with roads on all sides, for extra privacy. The hotel is only a few hundred yards from the main Western Highway that bisects the country between Belize City and Guatemala and is on the new by-pass road. It is a short, 20 minute stroll from the hotel to the down-town area of San Ignacio, Belize’s main inland tourism centre.

With the opening of the new by-pass, this is now the first hotel and restaurant for anybody travelling to San Ignacio.

The hotel has been in operation for over 20 years, is well mentioned in tour books etc., and, because of its friendly, family atmosphere, has become very popular with mission/church groups, tour groups and organisations such as Rotary, etc. This is a unique opportunity to become an instant part of the growing tourist industry of Belize and to live in the premier Belize location for persons re-locating to our warm, friendly country.
